All of The Knight’s specials are unique in that they have two phases depending on how charged up the SOUL charge is. The way to recover SOUL is by taking DMG or by delivering attacks, meaning The Knight is a character who is deadly from a distance but needs to keep pressure on opponents to constantly refill their SOUL to keep up those attacks. Different moves use SOUL in different ways. Above The Knight’s health bar are 6 SOUL charges that appear exactly like the ones from Hollow Knight.
